Welcome to House of Prayer Ministries
At House of Prayer Ministries, we are first and foremost a family! We want you to feel welcome, comfortable, and at home. Here are some answers to questions you might have as a first-time visitor.
Common Questions and Concerns:
Are Masks Required?
We are worshipping together again in our Sanctuary at 11:00 am each Sunday.
However, we will continue to wear masks in worship services, for everyone’s protection. Thank you for your cooperation.
House Of Prayer Ministries welcome you back to in-person worship in a safe, warm, inclusive, and welcoming environment.
Please maintain some physical distancing in the Sanctuary, even if you have been vaccinated. You should not assume that everyone else is vaccinated.
- Even with vaccinations, this is a time to be particularly careful about assuming that everyone is a ‘hugger’. Air hugs, elbow bumps and big smiles are always welcome.
- Hand Sanitizer and masks are available in the Sanctuary for your use.
- Signage will kindly remind you of these guidelines!
How should I dress?
There is no dress code for attendance. Some wear more traditional church clothing; others dress more casually. We welcome you to come as you are.
Where do I park and enter the Church?
There is ample parking to the left of the Church. Once you have parked, please follow the signs to the front entrance of the sanctuary. As you enter the sanctuary, you will find friendly members to assist you and answer any questions you might have.
What ages of people attend your services?
All ages are welcome!
What takes place in the 11:00 AM worship service?
A normal Sunday morning worship service will consist of prayer, singing, and a message from the Bible that is easy to understand and relevant to issues that you face in your life.
Will I be asked to give money?
As part of our Sunday service, an offering is received. Visitors are not expected to give, but you may do so if you choose.
Will I be asked to say anything publicly?
No. We want you to come and enjoy your visit! After the service, we would like to greet you and introduce ourselves. The HOPM family would love to get to know you!
I have young children. Is there a place for them?
Yes! We love having our youth with us during the 11:00 a.m. Worship Service.
What kind of music do you use?
We use a mix of Gospel and Contemporary Christian Music.
How long does service last?
Our services usually last about an hour and thirty minutes.
